Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Brooklyn, New York, with over 10 years of experience working with children, families, and adults across a wide range of life experiences - from anxiety and ADHD to grief, trauma, maternal mental health, and substance use. I started in community mental health, which means I've worked with people navigating real, complex lives - not just textbook cases. I bring that same groundedness and cultural humility into every session. Whether you're a parent trying to understand your child, a woman processing a difficult season of life, or an adult finally deciding to prioritize yourself, I want to help you build on what you already have. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative - I'm not here to lecture you; I'm here to work alongside you.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because I find it gives clients practical tools - not just insight, but actual shifts in how they think and respond. I layer that with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy when we need momentum, Motivational Interviewing when change feels hard or complicated, and strength-based approaches always — because I genuinely believe you have more resources within you than you may currently see. For families and younger clients, I draw on Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy to strengthen the relationships that matter most. I adapt my style to fit you, not the other way around.

What you can expect from me

Expect a real conversation - not a clinical intake checklist. We'll spend time getting to know each other: what's been going on, what you're hoping for, and what has or hasn't worked before. I'll share a bit about how I work so you can decide if I'm the right fit for you. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we start. By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer sense of what we're working toward together — and hopefully, you'll leave feeling a little less alone with it.
