Great to meet you!

Finding the right mental health provider can feel overwhelming, and I believe you deserve a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the very first visit. My goal is to create a collaborative, judgment-free environment where we work together to help you feel your best.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for adolescents and adults. I treat a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, OCD, and other mental health concerns. I use an evidence-based approach while recognizing that every person’s experiences, values, and goals are unique. Treatment is never one-size-fits-all.

I believe the best care happens through partnership. I take the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure you understand your diagnosis and treatment options so you can make informed decisions with confidence. My approach is compassionate, thoughtful, and practical, focusing on helping you build lasting improvements rather than simply managing symptoms.

Whether you’re seeking support for the first time or looking for a fresh perspective on your mental health care, I’m committed to meeting you where you are and helping you move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best mental health care begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and open communication. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered, meaning we’ll work together to understand your concerns, identify your goals, and create a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs, values, and lifestyle.

I take time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and ensure you feel informed and involved in every decision about your care. While medication can be an important part of treatment, I view it as just one tool. I also emphasize education, healthy lifestyle habits, coping strategies, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support long-term wellness.

My practice is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in current evidence. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health conditions. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, managing ongoing symptoms, or seeking greater balance in your life, my goal is to provide practical, personalized care that helps you feel empowered and supported.

Above all, I want my clients to feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to each appointment. Healing isn’t about perfection. It’s about making meaningful progress, building resilience, and creating a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong foundation for your care. My goal is to create a welcoming, relaxed, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns at your own pace.

During our first session, we’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We’ll discuss what brought you to treatment, your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, and the goals you hope to achieve. I’ll also take time to learn about your strengths, support system, and the factors that may be affecting your overall well-being.

By the end of the appointment, you’ll have a better understanding of my clinical impressions, possible diagnoses (when appropriate), and personalized treatment recommendations. If medication is recommended, we’ll discuss the benefits, risks, and alternatives so you can make an informed decision. There is never pressure to choose a treatment that doesn’t feel right for you.

My priority is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clear plan and confidence that we’re working together toward your mental health goals.
