Great to meet you!

I am Ernestina a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the social work and mental health field for over 20 years. I often work with people with anxiety, depression, loss, trauma and difficulties with life transitions. Carrying the weight of different roles at once (e.g. parent/caregiver, partner, or a working professional etc.), or facing the unique challenges of life's big transitions can be overwhelming and exhausting. Together we can explore life stressors, past and current experiences that weigh heavy on you maintaining you stuck. My passion lies in empowering individuals to shed the guilt, shame and people pleasing by creating healthy boundaries for yourself and others.

My approach to therapy

My work is rooted in helping individuals build self-awareness, self acceptance, reframe from negative or distorted thought patterns to change behavior and uncover unresolved conflicts to understand current actions. I am a compassionate listener who can help you uncover your potential through compassion and in a non-judgmental space. I am here to support you in facing uncertainty and help you build the strength and confidence to flourish.

What you can expect from me

I offer in person individual therapy for adults in Visalia, Ca. My goal is to help you cultivate the self-awareness and resilience needed to thrive in all areas of your life. I would be honored to walk with you on your journey towards embracing self-compassion and self-esteem.
