Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 5 decades of experience in mental health, including inpatient psychiatric social work and outpatient therapy/case management with various populations. I am compassionate and value the right to self determination for any person. I value the individual and take a strong non-judgmental stance in every therapeutic encounter.

My approach to therapy

Once an initial assessment is completed, I work with the client to determine immediate and long term goals and help them develop a plan to reach each goal.

What you can expect from me

Empathy, knowledge and a willingness to listen with an open mind. I will ask clarifying questions to be sure I am understanding what a client is saying. I will also allow the person the opportunity to ask questions they might have about myself or the therapeutic process.
