Great to meet you!

I have a wide range of experience in various clinical and therapeutic settings. I specialize in working with children and adults with depression/anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, serious mental illness, lgbtq+, crisis intervention, intellectual and developmental disabilities (including Autism Spectrum Disorders), as well as traumatic brain injuries. I primarily enjoy working best with youth or adults in individual therapy sessions.

My approach to therapy

My approach in counseling is holistic, strengths-based, and person centered in nature. I feel that every individual has unique needs and that there are no ‘one size fits all’ solutions in therapy. I believe that all behavior is a form of communication. My hope is that I can help guide you to understand your triggers/needs and to explore healthy coping strategies that can help you build overall wellness through collaboration. My philosophy is founded on positive psychology principals, and I am passionate about meeting each person where they are at.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will begin to develop rapport, discuss the reasons that brought you to therapy, and identify initial goals and objectives to measure progress on your therapeutic journey. My hope is that when you reach out to schedule with me, that you feel that each session you will take away at least one new insight or tool.
