Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field and have spent the past several years as a therapist. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, and identity-related issues. My goal is to create a space where you can be open about what you're experiencing without judgment, shame, or guilt. I believe therapy can be both supportive and challenging, and I bring understanding, honesty, and humor into our work together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct, and focused on helping you create meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Seeking Safety, while tailoring our work to what you need. Together, we'll look at patterns that may be contributing to the challenges you're experiencing, develop healthier coping skills, and practice tools you can use outside of therapy. I'll support you throughout the process, but I'll also challenge you when it can help you grow.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what you've been experiencing, gather relevant background information, and identify the goals you'd like to work toward. It's also an opportunity for you to get a feel for my style and ask questions. From there, we'll begin building a plan together that feels realistic and useful for your everyday life.
