Great to meet you!

I'm a bilingual marriage and family therapist working primarily with older teens, young adults, and women in California. My background includes years of clinical work in hospital and high-acuity settings, which means I've seen the full spectrum of what people carry. But what I'm building in private practice is something different: a space for people who are ready to work on themselves before things fall apart, not after.

I believe some of the most important therapy happens with people who are functioning but feel disconnected - from themselves, their relationships, or who they thought they'd be by now. If you've been the strong one, the one who figures it out, the one who never quite found a place to put everything down.. that's exactly who I work well with.

I offer telehealth sessions across California in English and Spanish. I'm especially passionate about providing culturally grounded care to the Latinx community — for people who may have grown up in homes where mental health wasn't something you talked about, and who are ready to change that.

My approach to therapy

I don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what you bring, I draw from trauma-focused CBT, narrative therapy, solution-focused techniques, family systems work, and behavioral approaches that are always tailored to you, never to a protocol.

I'm especially interested in the work of understanding patterns: where they come from, how they get passed down through families, and how we interrupt the ones that no longer serve us. I take a strengths-based lens, meaning I start with what's already working in your life and build on it.

I believe you're the expert on your own experience. I'm here to help you access what you already know.

You don't have to have everything figured out before you start. You just have to be willing to show up.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a real conversation, not an intake form with a face on it. I'll want to hear your story in your own words and what's bringing you in, what life looks like right now, and what you're hoping to feel differently about.

I'll also share a bit about how I work so you can decide if we're a good fit. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to. By the end, most people tell me they feel heard in a way they didn't expect and that's exactly the goal.

I offer afternoon and evening availability for telehealth. Sessions are available in English and Spanish. I currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of California, and United Healthcare.
