Great to meet you!

Thanks for visiting my page. I’m Esteban, and I bring over 30 years of experience in the human services field and more than a decade as a licensed therapist. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, bipolar disorder, panic disorders, grief and loss, relationship struggles, identity questions, and stress management. I also support clients exploring men’s issues and LGBTQIA+ experiences, always with an open, affirming, and respectful perspective.

At the heart of my work is a simple goal: helping people reach their highest potential in life. Many of the people I work with want to better understand their past experiences, make sense of their emotions, and begin making meaningful changes. My style is holistic, open-minded, and affirming, and I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel respected and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on listening closely to your needs and goals. I take a holistic perspective, meaning we look at the whole picture of your life, including your experiences, relationships, stressors, and strengths.

Together we will explore how past experiences may be shaping what you are feeling today and begin identifying practical ways to move forward. I draw on evidence-based practices while keeping our conversations natural and collaborative. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop healthier coping skills, and build a clearer path toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will begin by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. This is a chance for me to understand your experiences and for you to ask questions about the process.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true collaboration. You help set the direction and pace, and I walk alongside you offering support, perspective, and tools along the way. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and encouraged about the steps ahead.
