Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 15 years of experience in healthcare, providing psychiatric care across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings. I earned my advanced nursing education with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and continue to pursue advanced training in leadership and quality improvement to enhance the care I provide.

My background includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and sleep disturbances. I also support individuals navigating major life transitions, chronic stress, medical comorbidities, and complex mental health needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and thoughtful. I believe in meeting each person where they are and creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and asking questions. I take time to understand your history, symptoms, and goals, and I involve you in treatment decisions every step of the way.

When medication is appropriate, I use a careful, evidence-based approach—thoughtfully weighing benefits, potential side effects, and your personal goals. I focus on using the safest and most effective options at the lowest effective dose, with regular reassessment to ensure treatment continues to support your overall well-being. I also value whole-person care and often encourage a combination of medication management, therapy, and practical lifestyle strategies.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on understanding you. We’ll review your concerns, symptoms, history, and goals, and I’ll take time to listen and answer any questions you may have. You can expect a supportive, unrushed conversation where you feel heard and respected.

I’ll explain my clinical impressions, discuss treatment options, and outline what next steps may look like—whether that includes medication, therapy referrals, or other supportive strategies. My goal is for you to leave your first visit feeling informed, supported, and confident about your care plan moving forward.
