I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and am certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have expertise in working with people who want to develop skills to manage depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. I have experience with helping people reduce the effects of trauma, increase the health of family and/or marital relationships, and overcome addictions. I have provided individual and group therapy for adults and teens in a variety of private and county facilities including hospital inpatient units, residential treatment facilities, partial hospitalization settings, and adolescent day treatment programs.
I earned a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Regent University in 2007 subsequent to earning a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations, with a minor in Theology, from Trinity Washington University. I into to Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, and Phi Beta Kappa at the conclusion of her undergraduate work.
