Great to meet you!

Esther Horowitz MA, LPC, CCTP is a bilingual mental health counselor who graduated as a Clinical Psychologist from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, (Ecuador) in 2013, and from the Mindfulness Based Transpersonal Counseling Program from Naropa University in 2018. Esther has worked at CU Boulder supporting staff and faculty for the past 6 years, and is a Level II PACT Therapist, a National Emergency Responder Certified Therapist, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

My approach to therapy

Over the past decade I have learned that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to counseling. This is why I take an integrative approach to sessions. I offer a personalized and collaborative experience to clients, and tailor the work we do together on client's needs.

What you can expect from me

Even if a lot of the work is done during our sessions in a collaborative way, clients can take experiments and projects to work on in-between sessions. This will help clients feel empowered and in control of their efforts. In most cases clients end their sessions sharing that they feel hopeful and looking forward to the work.
