Great to meet you!

As a marriage and family therapist I believe that none of us exist in a void and that our relationships shape us in meaningful ways. The quality of our mental health largely depends on the relationships we cultivate not only with others, but with ourselves. That is the lens I use when I work with my clients. I specialize in stress management, anxiety, couples therapy and parenting special needs children.

My approach to therapy

I have two questions for you that I find intriguing:

Wouldn’t it be nice if instead of chasing a goal, struggling to find solutions, your desired outcome already existed, and your only job would be to align with it in the present? What if it was already yours?

What if you were dealing with a stubborn problem, and felt like you have “literally tried everything” to resolve it? What if you decided to unlearn what you think you already know so you could see things as they actually are? What if you adopted a beginner’s mindset?

What you can expect from me

When you come to see me, you can expect warmth, compassion and honest conversations. I will be in your corner, support you in any way I can, but I will not hesitate to point out challenges and confront you when needed. Therapy can feel all kinds of ways: warm, engaging, uplifting, upsetting or complicated, but it is always about change, empowerment, and getting a bit closer to your desired goal. In our first session we will start mapping out the changes you would like to see happen.
