Great to meet you!

Great to meet you

Hi, I’m Ethan Bardell, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and authenticity. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitative Sciences and Human Services, both from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, families, and groups in community mental health and virtual care settings, helping people through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.

My approach to therapy

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, gentle, and rooted in creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe healing is personal and unique, so I tailor our sessions to meet your needs, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches. Whether we’re working on overcoming trauma, managing anxiety or depression, or navigating complex life transitions, I’ll be with you every step of the way. We’ll work at your pace, and I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and supported in the process.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect from our first session

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you as a person and to start building a sense of trust. You’ll have the space to share your story in a way that feels right for you—there’s no pressure, and no need to feel like you have to “get everything out” all at once. Clients often tell me that our initial sessions feel more like a meaningful conversation than traditional therapy, and they leave feeling heard and relieved, even after just one meeting.

I work with a wide range of clients, particularly those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, substance use, dual diagnoses, and personality disorders. I’m here to help you create lasting change in your life and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, all in an environment that’s safe, supportive, and judgment-free.
