Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a therapist started with my own. I struggled with anxiety and self-doubt from a young age and experienced trauma from a serious surgery at 16. Through my own therapy, I learned how early wounds — even the quieter, more subtle ones — can quietly shape who we become. That experience is at the heart of how I show up for my clients.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a professional jazz guitarist. Music taught me how to truly listen, stay present, and connect — skills I bring into every session. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University Northridge and have worked across diverse settings including K-12 schools, UCLA, and treatment centers for adolescents and adults. I've been licensed as an LMFT since 2019 and am EMDR Certified through EMDRIA.

I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, and self-doubt — including musicians, artists, veterans, and sensitive men who are ready to look a little deeper.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and tailored. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method; I pull from a variety of evidence-based models to meet you exactly where you are.

Whether you need the deep, neurological processing of EMDR to heal past trauma, or the practical, skills-based approach of CBT, DBT, or ACT to handle current life stressors, we will customize our work to your specific goals. I view therapy as a partnership: I provide the clinical expertise and space, and you bring your unique experience. Together, we identify what’s getting in your way and build a path toward the life you want.

Clients often tell me that I'm warm, honest, and direct—that I really listen and help them feel understood. I think of therapy as a journey, and my role is to walk alongside you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you in, what are your goals, and a bit about your background—but we'll go at your pace. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready for.

  • My Goal: For you to leave feeling heard and confident that this is a safe space to do some real work.
  • The Plan: We will discuss your goals for therapy and begin to map out what our work together might look like.
  • Free Consultation: I offer a free 15-minute consultation before we begin. This is a great chance to get a feel for my style and ask any questions you have.
