Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LCADC), and Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with over 14 years of experience working in mental health and addiction treatment across northern New Jersey.

I work with individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected whether navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. I provide a grounded, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their experiences and begin to understand what may be getting in the way of living more fully.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Relational Life Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. When working with couples, I try to focus on improving communication, repairing trust, and helping partners reconnect in meaningful and authentic ways.

I have a particular passion for supporting young adults through life transitions, helping men develop emotional awareness and relational skills, and working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.

What you can expect from me

My approach is rooted in person-centered and humanistic therapy, emphasizing genuine human connection, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I believe that healing begins when individuals feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Through this authentic connection, I try to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths, values, and sense of self.

Drawing from Logotherapy, person-centered therapy, and relational life therapy, I support clients in exploring meaning and purpose in their lives, even in the face of pain, uncertainty, and adversity. I help individuals reflect on who they want to become and encourage them to make choices aligned with that vision, fostering a deeper sense of direction, fulfillment, and personal responsibility.

In working with couples, I help partners move away from viewing themselves solely as individuals and instead begin to see the relationship as a team. Through a relational approach, I support couples in building deeper intimacy, strengthening emotional connection, and feeling more connected not only to each other, but also to the world around them.

My work centers on helping clients become more fully human by embracing both their struggles and their potential, while cultivating greater self-awareness, authenticity, and connection with themselves and others.
