Great to meet you!
I am a bilingual Spanish-English Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and extensive experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and families across community mental health, school-based, and clinical settings. I provide psychotherapy in both English and Spanish, allowing clients to communicate in the language in which they feel most comfortable and understood.
My USC education and clinical training strengthened my expertise in working with children and families, including military-connected families, and established a strong foundation in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care. My bilingual and bicultural experience allows me to thoughtfully consider the cultural, family, generational, and community factors that influence emotional well-being and treatment.
Throughout my career, I have provided psychotherapy, diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, and clinical support to individuals and families experiencing moderate to complex mental health concerns. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, behavioral and emotional concerns, anger management, child abuse and neglect, dual diagnosis, job-related stress, adolescent challenges, family conflict, learning differences, life transitions, and adjustment to significant stressors.
I have a particular passion for working with adolescents and teens, helping them strengthen emotional regulation, coping and problem-solving skills, confidence, self-awareness, and relationships. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, strengths-based, and individualized. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.
Therapy is available in English and Spanish for adolescents ages 10+ and adults.
