Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I earned my advanced nursing education with a focus on psychiatric and mental health practice and have experience treating patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, and other mood disorders.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy.

My approach to therapy

I use a comprehensive, personalized approach with key elements:

1. Holistic Assessment: Understanding each person's unique situation.

2. Collaborative Care: Creating customized treatment plans with realistic goals.

3. Evidence-Based Therapies: Using techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for coping.

4. Medication Management: Prescribing and monitoring medication as needed.

5. Education and Empowerment: Educating patients to empower their recovery.

6. Ongoing Support: Regular follow-ups to track progress and adjust plans.

7. Support Systems: Involving family or networks in recovery.

Overall, my approach is patient-centered, focusing on trust and compassionate care.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we'll take time to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to treatment. I'll ask about your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, medications, lifestyle, and personal goals. This comprehensive evaluation helps me gain a clear understanding of your needs. Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan, discuss treatment options—including medication if appropriate—and answer any questions you may have. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and comfortable as we begin working together toward your mental health goals.
