Great to meet you!

¿Prefieres recibir terapia en español? Soy hablante nativa de español y ofrezco sesiones en español e inglés.

I believe finding the right therapist is an important part of the therapy process. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, heard without judgment, and supported. I have experience working with children and adults, including children and families in crisis, survivors of domestic violence, and parents navigating the challenges of parenting. I use a trauma-informed approach and am especially passionate about working with immigrants and the Latino community. No matter what brings you to therapy, I want you to feel respected, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and focused on your individual needs, experiences, and goals. I draw from different evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to what feels most helpful for you. I believe self-awareness and understanding ourselves can be an important part of healing, and I enjoy helping clients make sense of their experiences, recognize patterns, and better understand what they may be feeling and why. Together, we can find tools and strategies that feel realistic for your life, while working at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and the support you’re looking for. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and needs. It’s also a chance for both of us to see if we feel comfortable working together and if I’m the right fit for you. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself.
