Great to meet you!

Some experiences are hard to find words for, especially when they come wrapped in something the world expects you to feel grateful for. I work with BIPOC women navigating maternal mental health, grief, and the identity shifts that can quietly unravel what you thought you knew about yourself. My path here came through 17 years of direct work in community mental health, and that experience shaped my core belief: healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. Your identity, your culture, and your lived experience are part of the story. I also work with adults carrying patterns that quietly shape how they show up in their relationships and in their own lives, and there's space for all of it here.

My approach to therapy

I start from the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My job is to follow your lead, ask questions that help you go a little deeper, and offer tools that connect what's happening inside to what's happening in your life. We work together without a rigid agenda, with a shared sense of where you want to go. What I'm most focused on is helping you understand the root of your patterns, because that clarity is what transforms how you think, connect, and show up for yourself and others. The people who tend to do well with me want to be understood as a whole person, including the parts that feel complicated or hard to name.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you: what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and what your goals are. I'll be doing a lot more listening than talking, with the intent of making you feel comfortable and not pressured by the process. It's okay if you don't have it all figured out yet. Most people don't when they first start. We'll figure it out together. Looking forward to meeting you.
