I am a first generation Mexican-American as well as first generation college educated. I am bilingual and bicultural. I have worked with various populations like incarcerated youth, individuals and families afflicted with mental illness. I enjoy working diverse and multicultural marginalized populations. In the last two years I have been providing crisis intervention and assessing bariatric patients with binge eating disorder. I like to address issues and meeting the patient where they are.
