Great to meet you!

My name is Eva Hoffman, and I am an LCSW with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. I am deeply passionate about helping people feel more balanced, supported, and fulfilled as they navigate life’s transitions and challenges. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with families involved in the child welfare system, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), aging adults, caregivers, and women experiencing perinatal mood disorders. I believe in the power of connection and authenticity, and I strive to create a welcoming, compassionate space where you feel safe, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

I believe that no two individuals are alike, and therapy should reflect that. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and goals. I combine practical tools with meaningful reflection and deeper exploration, helping you gain insight while also developing skills you can use in your everyday life. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself and explore difficult emotions and experiences at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—your story, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll begin exploring your goals and discussing what feels important to you in a supportive and meaningful therapeutic relationship. This initial meeting is also a space for you to ask questions and decide whether working together feels like the right fit. My hope is that you leave our first session able to take a deep breath, feeling just a little lighter, and knowing you don’t have to take the next step alone—that someone is there to hold it with you.
