Great to meet you!

You don’t have to carry everything alone anymore. Therapy can be the place where you finally feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My name is Eva Slomovics, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced training from Columbia University, where I earned a Master’s in Psychology, and Yeshiva University, where I earned a Master’s in Social Work. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, relationship concerns, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. My goal is to help you feel supported while building the tools and insight needed to move forward with greater clarity and emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

You deserve a therapy experience that feels personalized, compassionate, and effective. I believe healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance, and genuine understanding. Treatment is tailored to your individual needs and goals, using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Together, we will explore patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create practical strategies that help you manage daily struggles while building confidence and emotional resilience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space for you to exhale and speak openly about what has been weighing on you. You can expect a warm, supportive conversation where I take time to understand your experiences, concerns, and goals for therapy. We will begin identifying the challenges you are facing, discuss what support may look like for you, and create a path forward that feels comfortable and manageable. Most importantly, you can expect to feel listened to, understood, and met with compassion from the very beginning.
