Great to meet you!

Welcome—I’m glad you’re here.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with more than 15 years of experience in clinical practice and healthcare leadership. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating life or career transitions, stress and burnout, relationship concerns, or parenting challenges.

My goal is to offer a warm, compassionate space where you feel genuinely heard, supported and thoughtfully challenged as you work toward changes that matter to you.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and attachment-based approaches to help you understand patterns, develop new ways to respond to difficult thoughts and feelings, and build coping tools that fit your values and goals. I also believe therapy can include genuine connection and lightness when that feels helpful.

In individual therapy, we explore what may be keeping you stuck and identify more helpful ways forward. In couples or family work, we examine communication and relationship dynamics to practice new ways of connecting. With children and teens, I tailor the work to their developmental needs and involve caregivers when appropriate.

If faith, spirituality, or a personal sense of purpose is important to you, we can make space for that in therapy—always at your comfort level.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an open, comfortable opportunity to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope might change, and what has or hasn’t felt helpful in the past. We’ll identify your immediate priorities and begin discussing how we might work together.

If it feels useful, we may also explore an initial tool or fresh perspective you can try right away. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet—we will build a thoughtful direction together over time.
