Great to meet you!

I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) education and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) training at the University of Arizona. Since 2020, I have practiced in Arizona, Maine, and Washington across a range of settings, including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and crisis response care, working with clients across the lifespan. I continue to work collaboratively with other clinicians, and I also work independently in my solo-provider practice.

In my solo-provider practice, I focus on working collaboratively with adult clients who are seeking a more holistic and individualized approach to mental health treatment. While medication can play an important role, I emphasize supportive counseling, lifestyle interventions, and thoughtful alignment of treatment with each client’s goals and values. I also welcome individuals who are interested in simplifying or deprescribing psychiatric medications when clinically appropriate, with an emphasis on safety, stability, and long-term well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is tailored to the needs, goals, and lived experiences of each individual client, recognizing that no two people arrive with the same story, challenges, or strengths. I believe effective mental health care is built through collaboration rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Together, we work to better understand what is contributing to distress, identify meaningful goals, and develop a treatment plan that aligns with the client’s values, preferences, and stage of life. I strive to create a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in decisions regarding their care.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a thoughtful and focused evaluation of your current concerns, relevant history, and overall goals for treatment. Together, we will work to better understand the factors contributing to your symptoms, clarify the diagnostic picture, and develop an individualized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and values.
