Great to meet you!

I work with individuals who've found themselves faced with a range of issues, including depression and anxiety, relationship and family difficulties, isolation and loneliness, hopelessness and confusion, addiction, and recovery from addiction. In my work, I find it helpful to mix the immediacy of in-the-moment experience with thoughtful reflection and exploration, respecting both conscious and unconscious processes.

My approach to therapy

My style invites you to make the greatest possible use of the therapeutic process initiated at the start of each treatment, encouraging you to speak as freely as possible not only about what brought you to treatment and your personal background, but also, as the therapeutic relationship deepens, your dreams, fears, and fantasies.

What you can expect from me

Whether you enter therapy out of necessity and suffering, or less pressing imperatives, I recognize that the process, and especially starting it, can feel unusual and unknown. Although I believe that worthwhile treatments are, at least at times, likely to be challenging, I try to keep sessions inviting and lively.
