Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Evan. Do you often find that making changes is difficult? Or that maintaining those positive changes is challenging, no matter how important or essential these changes are to you? What you're experiencing is common with any sort of change, and I'm here to help.

I utilize a combination of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to assist you in making these changes and maintaining your hard-fought achievements. With a Master's degree in counseling and certifications as a Licensed Addiction Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor, I have the expertise and experience to support you through various challenges.

My specialties include working with individuals dealing with addiction, anger management, antisocial behavior, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, grief and bereavement, multicultural and diversity issues, OCD, psychosis and schizophrenia, stress, and suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer or require remote sessions.

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment where we work collaboratively to achieve your goals. I believe in the power of therapy to foster growth and change, and I'm committed to helping you navigate your journey with empathy and understanding.

Outside of my professional life, I value continuous learning and staying updated with the latest therapeutic techniques to provide the best care for my clients.

Please reach out to me at the number listed in my profile so we can connect and discuss what you're looking for in therapy. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your path to well-being.

My approach to therapy

I tend to take a lens shaped by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a modality that focuses on how we view the world and distortions our past, experiences, and viewpoints can cause. In working to view the world through a less biased lens, I believe progress can be made.

What you can expect from me

My first session tends to focus on intake information so I can better understand what you are currently experiencing, how these issues developed, and how we can set goals to address what you are experiencing. This allows us to set a solid foundation and mutually approved goals that we can strive for in future sessions.
