Great to meet you!

I'm Evan Summers, LCSW, and I provide affirming, collaborative therapy for adults of all backgrounds. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am especially passionate about creating an inclusive space where clients feel safe sharing emotions, processing experiences, and working through trauma, depression, and anxiety.

Using DBT, EMDR, and CBT, we'll build practical coping skills, identify solutions, and develop personalized strategies for navigating life's challenges. I currently offer virtual sessions with Saturday morning availability

My approach to therapy

I prefer to spend time building connection with my clients to help foster a safe space. Then I take a direct approach to collaborate on identifying solutions to challenges you may be struggling to overcome.

What you can expect from me

Together we will set goals on what you want to achieve in therapy. I enjoy setting people up for success through building coping skills and fostering space for sharing thoughts and feelings. Our first session will consist of us getting to know each other and learning what you would like to achieve together.
