Great to meet you!

Have you ever wondered if you're truly living a life that feels authentic to who you are - or if you've simply been surviving, meeting expectations, or carrying the weight of past experiences? I help individuals reconnect with themselves, heal from what has been holding them back, and create lives that feel more aligned, meaningful, and fulfilling. I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), licensed since 2020, and an EMDR practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals navigating life’s challenges, with a particular focus on supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent communities. As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Cantonese, I offer culturally responsive care that honors each client's unique identity, background, and lived experiences. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to heal, grow, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a journey we take together. My role isn’t to lead from the front, but to walk beside you - one step at a time - as you navigate your own path. I meet clients where they are, believing that trust and vulnerability are earned, never forced. While I provide guidance, support, and evidence-based interventions, meaningful and lasting change comes from the work we do together. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your willingness to explore, reflect, and practice new skills outside of our sessions plays an important role in your growth. Together, we'll develop practical tools and strategies that fit your life, and at times I may suggest therapeutic exercises or reflections between sessions to help reinforce your progress. Whether you need a listening ear, practical tools, or someone to sit alongside you through life's challenges, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's important that you feel comfortable from the very beginning. Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other - you'll have space to share what brought you here, what's been weighing on you, and what you'd like life to look like moving forward. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. We'll explore it together at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are, feel genuinely heard, and maybe even find a little humor along the way. Together, we'll build on your strengths, work through life's challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond our time together.
