Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT) with over ten years of experience supporting children, teens, families, and adults, both in schools and three years in clinical practice through telehealth. I help children and adolescents navigate anxiety, behavioral challenges, ADHD, trauma, and social or emotional struggles, working closely with parents and educators to build coping skills, confidence, and resilience. I also support adults facing anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, trauma, relationship challenges, and family stress, focusing on practical strategies and insight to improve daily life and relationships.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaborative and empowering partnership. My style is warm, attentive, and direct when needed, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected.

My work is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication.

Together, we work to increase awareness of thoughts and emotions while developing practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater flexibility, self-compassion, and grace. My goal is to support clients in strengthening resilience, clarifying what matters most to them, and moving toward meaningful, lasting change

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel safe to share at their own pace. I take time to learn about your concerns, strengths, goals, and the experiences that have shaped you, while also gathering relevant background information to better understand your needs.

Together, we begin identifying what matters most to you and what you would like to achieve in therapy. We work collaboratively to develop clear and meaningful goals that align with your values and support the kind of life you want to build. I also share more about my therapeutic approach, answer any questions you may have, and ensure you feel comfortable with the process moving forward.

By the end of the session, many clients leave with a clearer sense of direction, greater understanding of their experiences, and initial strategies for navigating difficult thoughts and emotions. My goal is for you to feel supported, understood, and empowered as you begin your journey toward growth, healing, and living a life that feels meaningful and aligned with your values.
