Great to meet you!

Hello—I’m Eve Kerman Wilson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner dedicated to helping adults find practical, evidence-based paths to mental wellness.

I earned my MSN from Duke University and BSN from Northeastern University, completing clinical rotations in outpatient psychiatry and inpatient crisis-stabilization. I hold an Ohio APRN license with full prescriptive authority and a DEA registration for controlled substances.

Before becoming an NP, I spent four years with Boston Health Care for the Homeless, providing inpatient medical care, street outreach, and harm-reduction nursing.

My current practice combines thoughtful medication management with brief psychotherapeutic interventions. I have special interests in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and substance-use disorders, and I welcome adults (18+) of all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients and busy professionals.

Clients describe my style as warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Medication is only one tool—together we’ll also explore sleep, nutrition, movement, and coping strategies that fit real life. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find me outdoors enjoying time with my family.

I look forward to partnering with you on your mental-health journey.

My approach to therapy

When we sit down together, it’s more of a chat than a checklist. I start by really listening—what’s going on day-to-day, what matters to you, and where you’d like things to change. From there we co-create a plan that can include meds, therapeutic skills, and simple lifestyle tweaks like better sleep habits or stress hacks. I’ll lay out the pros and cons, you pick what feels right—no one-size-fits-all rules.

I keep things trauma-aware, culturally open, and LGBTQ-affirming. We’ll tweak the plan as we go, celebrate the small wins, and pivot quickly if something’s not working. Bottom line: it’s a partnership focused on helping you feel and live better, not just ticking symptom boxes.

What you can expect from me

After we talk, you’ll leave feeling truly heard and with a better handle on what’s happening. Sometimes that’s all you need—a space to sort things out. Other times we might land on a next step, like adjusting meds, trying a new therapeutic skill, or making a small lifestyle tweak. Either way, you’ll know what we covered and when we’ll touch base again. Keep any questions handy for our next visit, and I’ll always make sure you have after-hours or crisis contacts if you ever need them. Bottom line: you leave with clarity, support, and a sense that we’re working on this together—whether that means action today or simply being heard.
