Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. With a strong clinical foundation in nursing and advanced psychiatric training, I care for individuals across the lifespan.

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other complex emotional and behavioral challenges. My approach is warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood.

I utilize evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with medication management when appropriate, to help you build effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and enhance overall well-being.

I believe mental health care is a collaborative journey. My goal is to empower you with the tools, insight, and support needed to navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful, lasting growth. I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized to meet your unique needs. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and valued.

I use a combination of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and stress management techniques. When appropriate, I also incorporate medication management as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Together, we will focus on the areas that matter most to you whether it’s managing anxiety, improving mood, building emotional resilience, or strengthening relationships. My goal is to empower you with practical tools, insight, and confidence so you can achieve lasting mental wellness and thrive in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where we begin building a strong therapeutic partnership. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), my goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the very start.

We will take time to discuss your concerns, personal history, current symptoms, and goals for treatment. This initial session is an opportunity for me to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs while also allowing you to ask questions and share what matters most to you.

Together, we will begin identifying meaningful goals whether it’s reducing anxiety, improving relationships, enhancing mood, or developing healthier coping strategies. I will introduce practical, evidence-based tools such as mindfulness, emotional regulation techniques, and problem-solving strategies that you can begin applying in your daily life.

By the end of the session, you can expect to leave with a clearer understanding of your treatment plan, initial coping strategies, and a sense of support and direction. My goal is for you to feel empowered, informed, and confident as we begin your journey toward improved mental wellness.
