Great to meet you!

I’m Eveling, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in working with first-generation individuals who are ready to break generational cycles, heal deeply, and step into their full power. My approach is culturally grounded, trauma-informed and rooted in the belief that healing looks different for people whose experiences have been historically underserved by traditional mental health spaces.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and create a space where you never have to translate yourself, culturally or linguistically.

Your healing matters and I am honored to guide you on your path.

My approach to therapy

I practice from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive framework that honors the whole person- your history, your lineage, your nervous system and your innate capacity for healing.

I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness and Narrative Therapy, weaving them together based on what each individual client needs.

For my first-gen clients specifically, I understand that the people pleasing, the guilt, the hypervigilance and the difficulty resting are not character flaws, they are adaptive responses to systems that required survival before thriving. We can unpack all of it so we may choose a more conscious path forward.

My style is warm, direct and collaborative, and I incorporate somatic and nature-based awareness to connect back to the self because our bodies hold what our words sometimes cannot yet express.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a compassionate, unhurried space where the goal is not to fix anything but to begin understanding you as a whole person, so much more than your symptoms or your struggles.

I will ask questions about your story, your history and what brought you here, while taking time to honor your cultural background and lived experience because context matters deeply in this work.

By the end of our first session you can expect to feel genuinely heard and seen, have a clearer picture of what you are carrying, and leave with at least one insight you can begin using immediately. You do not need to arrive with a perfectly articulated problem, just show up as you are and I will meet you exactly there.
