Hello, My name is Evelyn Burns and my mission as a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is to provide compassionate and effective mental health care. By providing a safe and supportive virtual platform for my clients, I hope to enable them to explore their challenges, build resilience, and make positive changes.
Although I welcome clients of all ages, my main focus is pre-teens, adolescents and young adults between the ages of 10 and 26.
Over the course of my career as a dual-certified nurse practitioner, I've had the privilege of treating individuals, including children and adolescents, with a wide range of mental and physical health needs. My holistic and collaborative approach focuses both on medication management and psychotherapy techniques to ensure you receive comprehensive care.
During the first session, I'll ask you about your story and what you hope to accomplish. I like to invest the time in getting to know each other and developing trust so that we can work together in accomplishing your goals and improving your mental health.
