Great to meet you!

'As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified trauma and ADHD professional with over three decades of experience. I have dedicated my career to addressing and healing the effects of trauma and harm. My focus is on the inner world of children, adolescents, couples, and families, where I see my role as a healer, understanding and addressing mental processes and psychobiological reactions that manifest as anxiety, depression, or PTSD.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My passion is in helping clients navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. I believe in the power of holistic styles to therapy that focus on the mind, body, and spirit, such as Trauma-informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindful practices. These strategies are designed to calm the nervous system and release traumatic memories, empowering you to move forward, achieve lasting growth and transformative change.

What you can expect from our first session

I will address your unique needs, ensuring you feel understood and cared for in a nurturing space that fosters a sense of hope and optimism. Trauma-informed Stabilization Therapy (TIST) allows you to connect with yourself, focusing on your inner life. I will also assist you in regulating emotions and sensations that threaten your sense of safety. I will also advance my expertise to detect and treat what you may not be able to communicate, such as identifiable psychobiological substructures.
