Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! My name is Evelyn Ellington, and I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and my Educational Specialist (Ed.S) degree from Valdosta State University. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, trauma, and school-related challenges. My goal is to provide a warm supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged in their growth journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and client-centered. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while building healthy coping skills. I also incorporate strengths-based and solution-focused techniques tailored to each client's individual needs. My goal is to help clients feel supported, empowered, and confident in their personal growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming, supportive, and judgement-free space. During our time together, I will learn more about your concerns, current challenges, and goals for therapy while beginning to build a strong therapeutic relationship. We will work together to identify areas where you would like support and create a plan tailored to your needs. My goal is for clients to leave their first session feeling heard, comfortable, and supported.
