Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana with over 14 years of experience in social work and 4 years as a mental health therapist. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, supporting adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD, and the emotional impact of chronic health conditions or end-of-life concerns.

I also bring specialized experience working with first responders—drawing on my own background as a former paramedic, which gives me an inside perspective on the unique stressors of that work. In addition, I’ve supported individuals with disabilities and those navigating a cancer diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel both supportive and practical. I use a mix of approaches that can be tailored to your needs:

  • Solution-Focused Therapy: Instead of spending all our time on problems, we’ll also focus on what’s already working in your life and how to build on it.
  • Strengths-Based Therapy: We’ll identify your natural strengths and resources and use them as tools to help you move forward.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Together, we’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and practice ways to shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): This is a research-backed method that can help people process and heal from difficult or traumatic experiences so they no longer feel as overwhelming.

My goal is to help you gain skills, feel more confident in your ability to cope, and support your growth and healing in a way that feels meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting, you can expect me to listen with empathy, compassion, and without judgment. My goal is to create a calming, supportive environment where you feel safe to share your story. Together, we’ll begin identifying what matters most to you and the changes you’d like to see, so that we can create a path forward that feels right for your life.
