Evelyn Sahagun

Hi! My name is Evelyn Sahagun and I am a bilingual, bi-cultural Mexican- American licensed therapist. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 10 years. My experience includes working in an array of settings such as county mental health, juvenile hall, community college, and working within a group practice. These opportunities have allowed me to work with diverse clients from all walks of life whom experience a variety of challenges. Some of my specialties include working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, acculturation issues, survivors of sexual abuse, PTSD, trauma, and issues uniquely related to first responders.

The modalities I commonly practice include CBT, solution focused therapy, exposure therapy, and principals of psychodynamic. I work from a client centered approach and believe a strong therapeutic alliance is key to making changes. Unconditional positive regard and humor is my secret weapon in helping you reach your full potential. Yes, I absolutely speak Spanish.
