Great to meet you!

A good therapist can help you clarify things for yourself, feel understood, look at your situation from a different angle, identify your priorities and find practical solutions to your problems. It takes time to develop trust, but I've been told that I'm easy to talk to and that people feel like they can be their true selves around me.

Only seeing individuals currently, no couples or families.

My approach to therapy

I'm not the kind of therapist who will let you vent for 50 minutes and just nod my head in agreement. I'm direct and may challenge you with tough questions, but I do it with purpose and when I sense you're ready. We will work together to figure out what works best for you, how to get to real-life solutions. I love seeing my clients grow and helping them focus on and build on their strengths. Termination of therapy because you've reached or come closer to your goals is the goal.

What you can expect from me

I’ve worked with a variety of populations from Los Angeles to New York City to WA State

for the past 18 years. My specialties are: life transitions (relationships, moving, career changes, loss), personal growth, depression, anxiety, work stress, creative people, addiction issues, relationship conflict, fertility issues and trauma recovery.

I work well with freelancers, artists, nurses, service staff; people who don't work a traditional 9am-5pm schedule and may need sessions different days/ time every week. Whatever time we schedule our intake won't necessarily be out regular time; most of my clients need a flexible/ changing schedule and that works well for me, as well.
