Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Evonne! I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and accepted just as you are.

I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University and have experience working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and stress. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy to help you better understand yourself, build healthy coping skills, and move toward the life you want.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is collaborative and compassionate—we’ll work together to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy while building practical tools to help you feel more confident and grounded in your daily life.

I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused techniques, while tailoring each session to your unique goals and experiences. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, or major life transitions, I strive to create a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment.

My goal is not only to help you manage today’s challenges but also to empower you with the insight and skills to continue thriving long after therapy ends. I believe meaningful change happens one step at a time, and I’m honored to support clients as they grow, heal, and build lives that align with their values.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely okay if you’re not sure where to begin. During our first session, my priority is getting to know you—not just the challenges you’re facing, but also your strengths, values, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy.

We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, review your history at a pace that feels comfortable, and begin identifying goals that are meaningful to you. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can be yourself and feel safe asking questions, sharing your experiences, or simply taking things one step at a time.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you’ll leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together to help you reach your goals.
