Great to meet you!

My name is Ezra Miller, LCSW, and I have a genuine passion for helping people overcome OCD, and similar anxiety disorders. I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, supported, and comfortable being completely honest about what you're experiencing.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with OCD and anxiety, including intrusive thoughts, excessive worry, rumination, avoidance, and the constant need for reassurance or certainty. I also work with clients navigating life transitions, family dynamics, and other challenges that can contribute to anxiety and emotional distress.

My approach is warm, honest, direct and collaborative. I'm not here to simply hand you a worksheet and send you on your way. We'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck, change unhelpful patterns, and develop practical tools to help you feel more confident and in control of your life. I provide telehealth therapy throughout NewYork through telehealth.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness to help clients overcome OCD and anxiety. I tailor treatment to each person, helping them face intrusive thoughts and fears and working to reduce mental clutter. My goal is to help clients break the cycle of anxiety, build confidence, and feel more in control of their lives.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to meet each other. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy now, a bit about your background, and what you're hoping to work toward. There's no pressure to share everything right away — we move at your pace. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of whether we're a good fit, and I'll share some initial thoughts on what we might focus on together. Most people leave the first session feeling a little lighter, just from being heard. That's a good sign we're in the right place.
