Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker, a husband, a father, and a member of this community. I did not come to this work from a distance — I grew up in San Francisco, shaped by culture, community, and the understanding that life can be both beautiful and incredibly hard.

That lived experience is what I bring into every session. I have spent over 15 years in community mental health, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care across the San Francisco Bay Area — sitting with people in their hardest moments and helping them find their way through.

I am direct, warm, and genuinely invested in the people I work with. Therapy with me feels like a real conversation — not a performance, not a checklist, and never a one-size-fits-all approach.

I work with everyone — from high-achieving professionals and affluent families to individuals from Pacific Islander, Samoan, BIPOC, and multicultural communities who have been waiting for a therapist who truly gets it.

What you should know most is this — I show up for my clients the same way I show up for my family and my community. Fully, honestly, and with everything I have got.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in the belief that every person has the capacity to heal — and that real healing happens when you feel truly safe, seen, and understood.

I bring a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens to every session using EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Parts Work, and mindfulness. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we work together to understand what is actually driving your pain — creating lasting change, not just temporary relief.

I meet every client exactly where they are. Whether you are a high-achieving professional carrying private struggles, navigating cultural identity and intergenerational trauma, or simply ready for something to change — my approach adapts to your unique story and goals.

I work with adults, teens, and youth in person in San Francisco and Burlingame, and via telehealth throughout California."

What you can expect from me

Your first session is not about having the right answers — it is about feeling safe enough to show up as you are.

We will spend our time together getting to know each other. I want to understand what brought you here, what you have been carrying, and what you are hoping to find on the other side of this work. There is no pressure to share everything at once — we move at your pace, always.

By the end of our first session you will have a clearer sense of who I am, how I work, and whether this feels like the right fit for you. That matters to me. Therapy only works when the relationship feels right.

What you can count on from the very first session is a space that is warm, nonjudgmental, and completely yours.
