Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Addictions Counselor (LIAC) in Arizona with extensive experience supporting adults, couples, and adolescents navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I believe healing happens best in a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I integrate evidence-based practices with real-life tools to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward lasting change. As someone in long-term recovery myself, I bring a deep understanding of the recovery process while maintaining strong professional boundaries and clinical integrity.

I work with individuals struggling with substance use, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and faith-related concerns. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they work toward clarity, balance, and meaningful growth.

My approach to therapy

I utilize evidence-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relapse-prevention strategies, and person-centered therapy. Emphasizing individualized treatment planning, collaborative goal-setting, and measurable progress.

With a background in behavioral health, group facilitation, and individual counseling, I support clients in developing emotional regulation skills, improving relationships, and maintaining long-term recovery. I am committed to ethical practice, cultural humility, and client-centered care.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a time to get to know each other and begin building a safe, supportive working relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, any current concerns or symptoms, and what you hope to gain from counseling. I’ll ask some background questions to better understand your experiences, stressors, and strengths.

We’ll also review confidentiality, therapy expectations, and answer any questions you may have about the process. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with, therapy moves at your pace.

By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying initial goals and next steps, and you should leave with a clearer sense of how therapy can support you. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and hopeful as we start working together.
