Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Faby, short for Fabiola. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor based in Houston, Texas. Spanish is my first language, and I offer therapy in both Spanish and English to help clients feel truly comfortable, connected, and understood.

I bring extensive experience working with children as young as four, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in supporting clients through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, and family conflict. My approach is warm, supportive, and culturally sensitive—tailored to each person’s unique story and needs.

I also have a strong background working with adults in Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) settings. In these levels of care, I’ve supported individuals navigating complex trauma, substance use, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. I understand how overwhelming life can feel when you’re in crisis or trying to rebuild—and I’m here to walk alongside you in that healing process.

With younger clients, I use play-based and creative approaches to help them express their emotions and build confidence. With teens and adults, I foster a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore identity, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed CBT, and person-centered care. I truly believe that healing starts with connection and that everyone has the strength within them to grow, no matter where they’re starting from.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect to feel heard, supported, and respected. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. I will meet you exactly where you are, help you identify your goals, and walk alongside you at a pace that feels right. Together, we’ll build practical tools for managing stress, navigating relationships, processing trauma, and developing a deeper understanding of yourself. Whether we’re working on healing, building confidence, or developing new coping skills, you’ll leave sessions with insight, strategies, and a sense of hope.
