Great to meet you!

PLEASE NOTE: I presently only have slots avaliable for women over the age of 30

Trauma is my specialty. I am an LPC and an MFT who finds an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities best meets the needs of the women I serve. As a trauma survivor I believe "If I can do it so can you" and I make it my goal to arm you with tools to overcome obstacles. As a clinician I aim to teach you how to identify, analyze and mitigate trauma responses in order to live your best life.

My background includes being a teacher in the inner city for 25 years, then making the complete switch to providing therapy full time in 2022. I received a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 1995, a Masters in Professional Leadership in 2003. Then after finally figuring out what I wanted to be when I grew up, I made a major switch and returned to school for a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University in 2016 and an Ed.D in Community Care and Counseling: Traumatology focused in 2024 to merge both passions.

My approach to therapy

As a Trauma specialist with an MFT focus I tend to view relationships through a systems lens. This means delving into past experience and exposure as well as Family of Origin traumas and triumphs will guide our work together.

What you can expect from me

You are the agent of change and my goal is to ensure you are comfortably aware of this. Expect to walk away challenged yet affirmed in the choices you make to transform your life.
