Great to meet you!

As the founding partner of AleroCares Mental & Behavioral Health Services, I bring a wealth of clinical and administrative expertise to our therapeutic relationship. My mission extends beyond borders, aiming to provide trauma-informed and culturally affirming mental health services for healing that is sustainable. I value continuous learning and personal growth, and I’m committed to making a positive impact on individuals, communities, and the broader social work profession.

My approach to therapy

As a Christ‐centered psychotherapist, I bring a compassionate, collaborative, and clinically grounded approach to every session. My work is guided by a trauma‐informed and culturally responsive lens, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, experiences, and goals with confidence.

I draw from a wide range of evidence‐based modalities to address anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, communication challenges, self‐esteem issues, ADHD, and OCD.

These include:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and change unhelpful thought and behavior patterns.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to identify and shift unhelpful beliefs (“stuck points”) related to trauma.

Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) to reinforce resilience and meaning in trauma.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills for emotional regulation and communication.

As well as psychodynamic and attachment‐based approaches to understand past experiences and present behaviors, mindfulness‐based practices to foster present-moment awareness, alongside exposure-informed strategies like graded exposure to help clients gradually confront challenges.

Additionally, I integrate practical approaches such as motivational interviewing, life coaching principles, and goal-setting techniques to help clients find direction, increase productivity, and create lasting, positive change.

By tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and strengths, I blend clinical excellence with spiritual alignment, supporting meaningful insight, emotional healing, and lasting transformation.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect personalized support, practical tools, and insights that empower them to navigate life’s challenges. Together, we’ll work on enhancing coping skills, building resilience, and fostering self-awareness. My goal is to help clients achieve meaningful change, whether that’s improved relationships, emotional well-being, or personal growth.
