Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are tired of feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma, or major changes in their lives. You may be functioning on the outside while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Therapy can give you a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and focus on what needs to change.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with 11 years of experience, I work with clients navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship and family concerns, and women’s mental health. I also value understanding how culture, identity, and life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and cope with challenges.

My style is warm, open-minded, and solution-oriented. I want you to feel comfortable being honest while also leaving therapy with practical tools and a clearer sense of direction.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be supportive, but it should also help you make real changes. I use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you understand patterns, work through difficult emotions, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.

We’ll focus on what is happening in your life now while also exploring experiences that may still be affecting you. Depending on your goals, we may work on managing anxiety, processing trauma or grief, improving relationships, building confidence, or creating healthier coping strategies.

I’ll meet you where you are without judgment, while helping you identify realistic steps toward feeling more grounded, capable, and in control of your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and understand what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been weighing on you, what you’ve tried so far, and what you would like to feel or do differently.

You don’t need to come in with everything figured out. I’ll ask questions, listen to your story, and help us identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, comfortable, and clear about where we can go from here.
