Great to meet you!
Hello, and welcome. I am deeply passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges through a compassionate, grounded, and collaborative lens.
My educational journey began at the University of California at Santa Barbara, where I completed my undergraduate work, followed by a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern California.
For over 20 years, I have worked in community-based, client-centered therapeutic settings, walking alongside individuals as they heal and grow.
In 2004, I had the privilege of helping create a therapeutic community dedicated to a relationally-based approach to healing.
For the last 10 years, I have maintained a private practice while proudly holding true to the same core approach I have always relied on: deep connection, empathy, and respect for your unique story.
Throughout my career, I have focused on providing trauma-focused treatment for individuals navigating complex trauma, substance dependence, anxiety, PTSD, and depression.
My Special Interests
- Complex trauma and PTSD
- Anxiety and depression
- Substance abuse support
- Parenting challenges
- Acculturation issues
