Great to meet you!

My approach centers on building the relationship between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors by bringing awareness to how this internal world influences anxiety, depression, and mood stability.

Many of my clients come to therapy struggling with persistent self-doubt, critical inner narratives, and the weight of expectations around identity, care-giving, achievement, and emotional expression. These expectations can distort our sense of self worth, making it challenging to define and meet our goals.

Together, we can explore what may be contributing to these challenges and through curiosity better understand current belief systems and emotional patterns. I value a conversational approach to therapy, where you can feel open in expressing your thoughts and internal narratives in order to ultimately decide if they are still serving you or it may be time for reframing them.

My approach to therapy

How we speak to ourselves matters; it not only affects our mood but also our motivation, behavior, and connection to others. When we cultivate intentional internal dialogue and reframe limiting beliefs, we begin to unlock a greater sense of autonomy and capability. This, in turn can reduce anxiety, depressive symptoms and help in balancing mood fluctuations.

I often work from a relational-cultural lens, recognizing how social norms, systemic barriers, and gendered expectations impact psychological well-being. Therapy offers a space to slow down and notice this dissonance, explore its impact, and begin to set internal boundaries that reflect your values and goals.

My goal is to support you in creating a life aligned with your authentic self. Through self-awareness, emotional empowerment, and compassionate exploration, change becomes not only possible—but sustainable.

Therapy with me is a space to reclaim your voice, rewrite limiting narratives, and build a more compassionate and empowered relationship with yourself and the people around you. The main modalities that I utilize are a strengths based approach and a combination of emotional processing and cognitive behavioral therapy.

What you can expect from me

Beginning in therapy can bring up mixed feelings and expectations or concerns. In your first call or session we can go over what you can expect in therapy and any questions or concerns you may have. This is the starting point to building a supportive therapeutic relationship with clarity that is centered around your goals. I invite you to voice your thoughts about this process, before, during and throughout your therapy process.
