Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in perinatal and maternal mental health, supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and the many emotional changes that come with becoming a parent. I work with women experiencing postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, pregnancy-related stress, maternal burnout, overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, and difficult life transitions. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood while developing practical tools to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself again.

I also work with children and adolescents and bring more than seven years of experience as a school counselor into my therapy practice. I support younger clients navigating anxiety, behavioral challenges, academic stress, self-esteem, emotional regulation, social challenges, and other social-emotional concerns. My background in schools allows me to understand the many factors that can affect a child or teen both at home and in the classroom.

Whether you’re struggling to adjust to motherhood, feeling unlike yourself during pregnancy or postpartum, navigating anxiety or burnout, or looking for support for your child or teen, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Together, we’ll work toward greater understanding, healthier coping skills, and meaningful change in a space where you can feel safe, supported, and heard.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, while incorporating evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy. I tailor treatment to your individual needs, goals, and experiences rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I support clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, difficulty with emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I have a particular passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, parenting, maternal burnout, postpartum anxiety, and postpartum depression.

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported—but also gently challenged when needed. I won’t simply tell you what you want to hear. When appropriate, I’ll offer honest, compassionate feedback, help you recognize patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and encourage you to consider different perspectives. We’ll work together to build practical coping skills, strengthen self-confidence, set healthy boundaries, and make meaningful changes.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, questioning yourself, or struggling to feel like yourself again, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Taking care of your mental health is an investment in yourself and your family. Healing and growth are possible, and you deserve support along the way.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share your story, current concerns, challenges, and goals for therapy while I learn more about you as a whole person—not just what you’re struggling with.

I often describe myself as the “passenger princess” on your therapy journey. You’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m here to help you navigate. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build insight, identify what may be getting in the way, and develop practical coping skills and strategies that you can use outside of therapy.

Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, postpartum anxiety or depression, maternal burnout, or a major life transition, our sessions will be tailored to your specific needs and goals.

I also believe therapy should be active and collaborative. You can expect support, validation, thoughtful questions, and honest feedback when helpful—not just a place to talk. I want you to leave sessions with greater clarity and, when appropriate, a practical strategy, skill, or next step to focus on between appointments.

As we continue working together, we’ll regularly revisit your goals and progress so that therapy feels purposeful and meaningful. My hope is that you leave our work together feeling more understood, more equipped, and more confident in your ability to navigate life’s challenges.
