Great to meet you!

Life can feel really heavy sometimes, and trying to carry everything on your own—whether it's anxiety, depression, or a tough transition—is exhausting. You don't have to figure it all out today, and you certainly don't have to walk this path alone.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 11 years of experience, I provide a warm, judgment-free space for children (ages 8 and up), teens, and adults. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just looking for a safe place to land, my goal is to help you feel truly heard and accepted right as you are.

With a background including advanced studies at Troy State University and Auburn University at Montgomery, I love helping clients build practical tools, navigate emotional regulation, and find solid ground through life's unexpected turns. Therapy with me isn't about clinical stiffness—it's a supportive, collaborative partnership designed to help you build confidence and create lasting, positive change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, not a place where you feel judged or pressured. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with compassion, encouragement, and practical guidance. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but every session is personalized to fit your unique needs, goals, and pace. Together, we'll explore what's been holding you back, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and develop healthy coping skills you can use in everyday life. Whether you're learning to manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, or simply find more peace in your daily life, you'll have a supportive partner who is invested in helping you move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We'll talk about what has been weighing on you, what you hope will be different, and what healing looks like for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clearer understanding of where you're headed and a plan we can build together. Therapy is a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment, ask difficult questions, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want. If you're ready to begin, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
